Leasing of the Ancud to Lechagua Railway.– A document dated 20 November [1918?] leased the Ancud to Lechagua Railway, for a period of nine years at a fee of $ 600 annually, payable half-yearly in advance, to señor José Manuel Mulet.

Leasing of the telephone line between Piruquina and Castro.– By Decree 2,810, of 30 de Noviembre [1918?] a lease was granted to don Ernesto Ynugue of one of the telephone lines which the Empresa [Undertaking] has between Piruquina and Castro, in accordance with the conditions specified as a basis for the licensing.

Bridge on the Ancud Railway.– In view of the bad condition of the majority of the bridges on this line, a scheme for the temporary strengthening of the most dangerous ones has been started. In 1920 the expenditure was $ 7,086.12. The total expense [to date] has been $ 13,368.32.

Table of passenger figures for each Chiloé station, and summary of goods traffic figures at each station, also: under Departamento de vias i obras: Garay viaduct – (Ancud to Castro branch) The embankments over the 2 metre diameter reinforced concrete culverts which replaced these viaducts have been completed at a cost of $ 144 600,00. As is noted this work includes the simultaneous work carried out on the Garay, Huenchicoy and Tierra viaducts not completed in 1943.

Wooden bridge at Km 82 020 – (Ancud to Castro branch) This bridge was replaced by a 2 metre diameter reinforced concrete pipe. The work is in use and cost $ 35 530,00.
